This customer called me to see if we could "refinish" his original entry doors. Turns out that this was not at all practical - they were made from cheap pine, had multiple coats of old paint and leaked ... so the best solution was to build a new entry door, sidelites and framework from "Sapele" Mahogany finished with satin varnish, using the original leaded glass panels. |
